Justin graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2002 cum laude with a B.A. inDSCF0031 English and from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 2006.  While in law school, Justin participated on multiple trial advocacy teams with success competing at the national level.

Justin has court room and general litigation experience working as a licensed legal intern for the District Attorney in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma as well as with the highly regarded litigation firm Abel, Musser, Sokolosky, Mares, and Kouri in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Since admission to the Colorado Bar in 2007, Justin has litigated a variety of matters; including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, complex child custody matters (including dependency and neglect), child support/maintenance issues (pre and post-decree), civil litigation, felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, and personal injury/medical malpractice cases.

Justin is currently the co-editor of the Colorado Bar Association’s Practitioner’s Guide to Colorado Domestic Relations Law; having edited the section concerning the intersection of criminal law with domestic relations law in both 2012 and 2013.  Justin has presented to attorneys regarding child support issues, as well as trial preparation issues; including being invited to present at the annual Colorado Bar Association Family Law Institute statewide convention in 2013.

Justin is a member of multiple legal organizations and associations.  He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the First Judicial District Bar Association.
