A practicing attorney in Colorado since 2000, Jennifer Gehring offers a broad-based background in general litigation and family law. With a compassionate and honest approach to counseling clients through divorce and child custody matters, she helps families form agreements that protect the best interests of the child. While dedicated to working toward positive settlements, Jennifer also offers valuable courtroom experience
Jennifer began her career with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and worked a psychological consultant with the Head Start program. Upon completing her legal education at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Jennifer joined Fairfield and Woods with a practice focus in commercial litigation. Later she served as General Counsel to the Mental Health Boards for the Colorado Attorney General. She has also served as a professor for DU’s Sturm College of Law.
Jennifer returned to legal practice after spending 9 years as a devoted parent and active school volunteer in 2016, providing legal advice and contract review on a variety of legal matters for another firm. She is excited to bring a rich and varied background in public and private legal environments to her practice at Pickard Law.
